Learning outcomes

The aim of this course (1 credit) is that students will know what kind of ethical problems are involved in telerehabilitation and how they can pay attention to them when planning, implementing and evaluating telerehabilitation. The course is aimed for all who are interested in telerehabilitation and ethical issues that are involved in it.

Core content

You will know what kind of ethical problems are involved in Telerehabilitation and you can pay attention to them when planning, implementing and evaluating telerehabilitation.

• What is telerehabilitation?
• Ethical issues in telerehabilitation
• Ethical phenomena in the use of wearable sensory devices
• Case

There is a short animation, videolecture, article and a case about telerehabilitation and its` ethical issues in the Moodle. You will answer some questions after listening/reading the videolecture and the article. You`ll apply your knowledge about ethical issues in the final case.

Edeltävyysehdot

Mooc is planned for all students and employees in social and health care who are interested in ethical issues in telerehabilitation.
