.NET is a modern, innovative, open source development platform for building all your apps. With .NET, you can use multiple editors and libraries to build for web, mobile, desktop, games, and IoT. .NET helps you build high quality applications faster.

After completing the course the student has a working knowledge of modern .NET programming and can implement solutions to different use cases using .NET.

Content

• An overview of the newest .NET programming models and application frameworks.
• Using .NET in modern application development efficiently.
• Using .NET to create console applications, web applications, RESTfull APIs and full stack applications.
• Using data storages via an OR/M tool and knowing how to make real-time apps.

Edeltävyysehdot

Basics of C# programming language and knowledge of object oriented programming. Knowledge about web technologies and web APIs will help.

Arviointikriteerit

Grading Scale: 0 – 5

The student’s workload is 135 hours in total containing familiarization of the course material and the course tasks.

100 % online (Moodle)

The course is 100% online self-paced and there are no lectures. The course material and tasks are designed to help independent studying and will guide in using .NET documentation.

Studies are free of charge for CampusOnline students, i.e. for the present degree students of Universities of Applied Sciences in Finland and for the study path and exchange students of UAS degree studies.
