Competence
The student can explain the concept of total quality management and the meaning of quality as a competitive advantage in any organization. The student is able to explain the importance of quality management, environmental management and occupational health and safety management activities as a comprehensive integrated management system of an organization. The student is able to use different quality tools and problem solving methods in process improvement and can describe the potential problems in implementing quality improvements in an organization. Classification of competence: intermediate level.

The course is implemented entirely online as nonstop studies in SAMK’s Moodle. Completion of the course consists of mandatory assignments which will open as the course progresses. Students can complete these assignments according to their own schedule. The Moodle platform will be open on 9th of January and it will be closed on 31st of July.
The course is divided into three parts. These parts will open as the course progresses.
You must activate the SAMK-ID and @student.samk.fi email address to complete the course. After your enrolment has been processed, the Student Services Secretary will send you the activation instructions to the email you provided in the enrolment form.
All enrolments will be approved. You will get an automatic reply to the email address you provided in the electronic form. Check the spam.
Applications are processed in the next two weeks, but not processed during the summer break (July) or Christmas break. When your enrolment has been processed, the Student Services Secretary will send you a message with instructions on how to activate the SAMK student identifier to the email address you provided in the application form.
