Basics of German

Course description

The course contains nine modules and offers various topics for students to learn essential vocabulary and grammar while also familiarizing them with German-speaking countries, some cities and interesting tourist destinations in Germany. Besides the written exercises and tests the course also contains oral tasks that can be recorded using learning environment’s built-in recorder. A final test concludes the course which is written online using the learning environment. The target level of the course according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is A1.2.

Prerequisites

No previous German studies are needed. Students want to learn to use German both orally and in writing, in simple everyday situations related to work, or as tourists visiting German-speaking countries.
