This course is comprised of an effective E-Book, which assists students independently to complete infection prevention and control studies. The course consists of 12 modules containing interactive learning methods boosting the learning outcomes and course completion. Additionally the course contains two OSVE-simulations, which clarify the infection prevention and control methods in practice.
After the course students will be able to explain the key-areas and good practice guidelines of infection prevention and control in healthcare settings. Students can also explain infection prevention and control in different patient group care.

Student completes the online course independently by passing the all 12 modules.

Studies are free of charge for CampusOnline students, i.e. for the present degree students of Universities of Applied Sciences in Finland and for the study path and exchange students of UAS degree studies.
