Learning targets Students know the characteristics of international business, including practical operations of foreign trade. Students can choose a suitable entry mode according to the situation of the exporting company and target markets. Students are aware of cultural differences and how they influence business. The focus will be on international business entry modes.

Course includes recorded lesson videos, which open in Moodle every day between 7.7.2023 – 21.7.2023. After that there’s time to finalize Market Entry Plan and do the Moodle-exam (between 21.7.23 – 31.7.2023). Course can be done independently, there’s no need to be present at lessons or other sessions. Market Entry Plan can be done with a small group of students, or alone. Moodle-exam will be done independently.
Basic office programs are needed (f.ex. word, powerpoint).

The courses are free of charge for degree students at universities of applied sciences and for Open Studies’ path students. Also students from schools of professional teacher education and exchange students may select courses and complete the courses free of charge. The enrollment period begins on 13th March at 8 am.
