Content

Social customer relationship management : customer segments and the Internet :social media insights, trends and services : benefits and risks of social media for tourism businesses : marketing analysis and web analytics.

Competences

Utilising the Internet in tourism marketing : gaining marketing advantage by using online tools : applying social media in tourism marketing and online customer service as a part of entire service chain. Classification of competence: Basic level.

Assessment criteria

Grading (1-5) is based on general evaluation criteria by SAMK. The evaluation framework can be found from Moodle.

Course way of working and time table

  • Totally 133 hrs.
  • Lessons 10 hrs.
  • Final group presentation 50 hrs.
  • Website design (wordpress) 40 hrs.
  • Online assignments 33 hrs.
