The student classifies the aims of sales work, explains the stages of a sales situation and estimates the demands set to sales work by the characteristics of items and services. The student chooses the means directed at consumer and corporate clients. Classification of competence:basic level.
Content:Sales work directed at consumer and corporate clients. Sales work and its characteristics in selling items and services. The aims of sales work and means to achieve them.
This is an online nonstop course, which a student can study at one’s own pace during 9.1.-31.5.2023.
The course consists of:
– Recorded introduction lecture
– Monthly voluntary q&a sessions in teachers Hill-room during the course, and
– independent study (reading, online videos, assignments and tests).
Sales work course is divided in two parts:
Part 1: Sales work theory (obligatory), giving level of knowledge 1-3,
Part 2: Practical assignment (voluntary), giving level of knowledge 4-5.
Student can decide, if he wants to continue to Part 2, and reach deeper practical knowledge of Sales work.
You must activate the SAMK-ID and @student.samk.fi email address to complete the course. After your enrolment has been processed, the Student Services Secretary will send you the activation instructions to the email you provided in the enrolment form.
All enrolments will be approved. You will get an automatic reply to the email address you provided in the electronic form. Check the spam.
Applications are processed in the next two weeks, but not processed during the summer break (July) or Christmas break. When your enrolment has been processed, the Student Services Secretary will send you a message with instructions on how to activate the SAMK student identifier to the email address you provided in the application form.
