The foundation for the course is the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL). The ITIL is a set of concepts and policies for managing information technology (IT) infrastructure, development and operations. ITIL’s best practices (an approach or a method that has proven itself in practice) in IT service management have been globally accepted in both private and public sectors and they have become de-facto standards.

Learning outcomes of the course
After the course, the student:
– Understands the negotiation situation in ICT services business;
– Is able to develop service processes according to the industry standards.

Työskentelytavat ja aikataulutus: Course is 100% online (Self-Study) course, so the timetable depends on Student her-/himself.
Arviointi: 
Approved/fail. Course includes Article Reviews and Final exam.
