The course concerns basic knowledge of leadership in social and health service. After the course students are aware of leadership trends and changes in Finland. Students suppose to study in multicultural and multiprofessional teams by using digital tools and communication. One target is to motivate their interests to study more of leadership issues.
The course in totally in net and has been planned to Optima learning platform completed with cloud-tools. Distance lectures are carried out by Zoom communication system. Assignments are online (= time table free) and individual assignments have several alternatives to choose. Web- pages will be opened a week before course begins and student has to ensure his/her coming in a week.
Student is able to recognize good leadership practices in the well-being sector based on the latest knowledge. He/she uses key concept and evidence- based sources in his/her assignments. Student proves development of his/her leadership skills by reflecting actively with a team, other students and teacher. Assignments will be returned on time and they follow instructions and fulfill assessment criteria.
Fail (0): Student has not shown any activity in groups/teams, in all assignments and in lectures or performance, evidence and test are totally incomplete.
