The competences to be promoted and assessed in the course are purchasing competence, practical application of technology, knowledge and understanding of the subject, ability to communicate and teamwork.
After completing this course, you will understand the role and importance of procurement in organizations and networks. You will be familiar with the key features of the procurement process and the different sectors (such as public and service procurement). You understand the main features related to purchasing management. You will gain an overview of the opportunities in purchasing development.

The course is implemented virtually, which includes self-study (independent learning tasks or group learning tasks). Assessment is based on the total number of points obtained from the learning assignments, according to which the grade of the course is 1-5.

Enrolment for non-stop studies from the beginning of August to the end of May. Please note the time frames for completing your studies:
Enrolment 1.8-30.9, study time frame 30.8-10.12 Enrolment 1.10.-28.2., study time frame 1.10.-31.5. Enrolment 1.3.-31.5., study time frame 1.3.-31.7.
Studies must be completed during the given time frame. If needed, please re-register at the next time frame. In this case, you will have to pay the study fee again / submit a certificate entitling to the free-of-charge studies.

Common terms
The cancellation must be submitted in writing. Failing to start the studies will not be seen as a cancellation. Paying the study fee is a requirement for participating in the studies. In case of an illness, returning the study fee will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
