The aim of the course is to learn to understand the applications of mains battery storage and battery-powered electric cars. We will learn how to achieve sustainable development in these applications and how the carbon footprint, life cycle, recyclability and safety of lithium batteries are taken into account.

The course is divided into five different learning areas.
Scale: 0-5.
The course evaluation consists of several Moodle sub-evaluations. The total score is the average of these sub-evaluations. Each part of the course must be passed.
The course is conducted as an independent study.
The course is free of charge for degree students (Bachelor’s/Master’s) at universities of applied sciences and for Open Studies’ path students. Also students from schools of professional teacher education and exchange students may complete the course free of charge. The link to the form can be found at the top of this page (”Enrol”). When registering, you must use the email address of your university of applied sciences. After successful registration, you will receive a confirmation message where you can find more information.
