Objectives:

• The student understands the importance of demonstrating competence for one’s own studies and career development.
• Students become familiar with the basics and examples of storytelling through their own research, experimentation and assignments.
• The student is able to use the applications and publishing channels needed to make and share digital stories and videos.
• The student makes his / her own publication, demonstrating his / her skills through digital storytelling and / or video and publishes it either in public or distributed only to the targeted persons.

Content:

• How do I publish my expertise in a controlled way?
• Demonstrating competence – what does it mean in practice and for this course?
• Storytelling – how does it relate to demonstrating skills?
• Image processing with modern browser and mobile applications.
• Basics of Video Editing.
• Digital Stories.
• Exercise: Demonstrating one’s own skills.

Bedömningskriterier

The student demonstrates mastery of the stated goals through the assigned learning tasks and assignments.

Arbetsformer och schemaläggning

Self-study online course. The course is non-stop, so you can join at any time. However, the studies must be completed by May 31, 2023.
