- is proficient in a single aspect of knowledge management and is able to apply it in practice
- takes part in a knowledge management project and is able to describe its implementation.

- knows the concepts of knowledge management and is able to apply them purposefully for developing practices
- is able to analyse and evaluate the quality of knowledge and levels of knowledge production
- is familiar with and is able to apply various aspects of knowledge management for developing practices and value creation
- implements a knowledge management project in collaboration with working life, and evaluates its implementation and benefits for the organisation

HOW TO STUDY (independent, virtual)
This course includes 4 parts, 1, 2, 3 and 4. You’re supposed to carry out these parts in order.
Part 1: Instructions and pretask essey. (0,5 credits)
Part 2: Video lesson, articles and test. (0,5 credit)
Part 3: Applied scientific articles, learning diaries and discussions. (1 credit)
Part 4: Implementing a work-life based knowledge management project (3 credits)
The course is in English and we use English in our tasks and conversations. However, if you are studying your Master´s degree in Finnish, you can write the project report in part 4 in Finnish.
You can study at your own pace. Notice that 1 credit means 27 hours of work.
Teachers check the tasks three times on this semester: 3.10.2024, 1.11.2024 and 3.12.2024. (You get your evaluation and credits in 3 weeks)
Course enrolment info
In several universities of applied sciences (UASs), you can enrol for this course directly from your home university’s Peppi system by searching for cross-study courses of Tampere University of Applied Sciences (Tampereen ammattikorkeakoulu). This is a much more convenient way than the online enrollment forms on campusonline.fi. Do not enroll for the same course twice!

- The e-mail address of your own UAS must be used for enrollment.
