The Finnish language 1 course establishes the foundation for studying the Finnish language. The intended learning outcomes equal reference level A1 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
Students familiarise themselves with the most common Finnish phrases and learn basic vocabulary and grammar to be able to manage everyday situations in Finnish.
Target group
The course is suitable for any student interested learning the basics of Finnish. You need to possess good digital skills, be highly motivated for independent studies.

This is a self-paced Finnish course for total beginners who will learn the basics of Finnish through independent studies in a Moodle learning environment. This means that there will be no live classes given.
