In the Office Skills Accelerator: Office Pro online course, you will learn the use of Office software in-depth. You will complete the course independently online using self-study materials and doing exercises. At the same time, you’ll receive personal support and feedback from the course instructors.

Prerequisites: User interfaces and basic functions

Basics of text processing: Header styles and document layout; lists, numberings, and indentations; find and replace functions; adding, placing, and editing images; inserting, arranging, and editing tables

Spreadsheet basics: Input and data types; selecting and editing areas; table formatting; calculations and basic functions; relative and direct references; charts; printing in Excel

Presentation basics: Structure of slideshows; text slides; images in slides; adding, editing, and importing tables from Excel; adding, editing, and importing charts from Excel; various printing options

Teams: Installation, login, joining a meeting, and participation

Word and lengthy documents: Headers and their numbering; navigating and arranging parts of a long document; page numbers and table of contents; cover page; footnotes; web links and cross-references; horizontal pages and document sections; saving as a PDF file

Advanced Excel use: Editing multiple sheets simultaneously and calculations across sheets; conditional formatting; mixed references; IF function; search functions; nested functions; formula review tools

PowerPoint and the keys to a good presentation: Requirements of a good presentation; SmartArt graphics and visual SmartArts; adding a video or YouTube video to a presentation; splitting a presentation into sections; performance and presentation tools

Advanced Word use: Editing marks and comments; different structural elements; custom styles and document templates; document design

Bringing a PowerPoint presentation to life: Unifying the appearance and editing a unified appearance; freehand drawing and drawing with shapes; screen clip and screen video; importing slides from another presentation; transitions and animations; creating a screen recording; adding subtitles to videos; creating video presentations; saving options

Data analysis with Excel: Editing large datasets and autofill; table function and calculations in the table; summaries, sorting, filtering, and slicers in the table; pivot table and its formatting; subtotals, summaries, sorting, slicers, timelines, and grouping in a pivot table; multiple value fields in a pivot table; pivot chart.
